Mentors

Our mentoring scheme lets you learn from the experiences of people with dyslexia who have grown and prospered.

Sharing life experiences

In March 2009 we joined forces with the British Dyslexia Association and Cass Business School at City University London to create a unique mentoring scheme.

Whether through individual or group mentoring, the mentors will share their life experiences and coping strategies, helping you gain the confidence you need to achieve your goals.

The mentors: the scheme’s mentors come from a range of professions, from politics and Formula One, to the business world. Each is an inspiring role model, proving that dyslexia does not have to be a barrier to success in life. We are looking for mentors in Scotland.

The mentees: You must be over 18 to take part. Once signed up you will receive a minimum of 12 hours of mentoring.

Get involved: To be part of the scheme or to find out more, visit the British Dyslexia Association here.

Alternatively, if you have any questions about the scheme, please contact the British Dyslexia Association on 0845 251 9003 or email mentoring@bdadyslexia.org.uk
