Scottish Heather Voice for all colleges in Scotland!
The JISC Regional Support Centre (RSC) Scotland North & East have an agreement with Cereproc, the developers of the Scottish Voice, Heather, that all colleges in Scotland and their students can download and use Heather at college or home etc. The agreement allows colleges to install Heather to their network and students to download it at home so they can install it to their own computer.
Heather is a quality computer synthetic voice and will benefit many learners who require audio feedback. Heather is also the perfect complement to MyStudyBar, for example, programs such as Orato will read back text using Heather; Balabolka will also read typed text and save and split text to Mp3 and other formats using Heather.
